Prompted Sites ("we", "our", or "us") provides a Chrome extension that allows users to generate website previews based on text prompts, optionally using context from the currently active browser tab.

2. Data We Collect

We only collect data that you explicitly choose to share with us by initiating a generation request:

• Prompts: The text you enter into the extension popup.
• Page Context (Optional): If you enable "Use page text", we collect the text content, title, and description of the current active tab.
• Screenshots (Optional): If you enable "Use screenshot", we capture a visible screenshot of the current active tab.
• URLs: The URL of the page you are on when generating (used for context).

3. How We Use Data

The data collected is sent directly to our backend API solely for the purpose of generating the requested website preview. This data is processed by Large Language Models (LLMs) to create the output.

4. Data Retention

We do not store your browsing history, page content, or screenshots permanently. Data sent to our API is processed transiently for the duration of the generation request.

5. Third-Party Services

Our service utilizes third-party LLM providers (e.g., OpenAI, Google, Anthropic) to generate content. Your prompt and context data is shared with these providers solely for the purpose of generating the response.
